Who arrives, and what discretion means here
One practitioner, arriving alone. No uniform, no branded bag, and no branded vehicle. Nothing about the arrival identifies what the appointment is for, which matters more in a hotel lobby than anywhere else.
You are told the practitioner's name before they arrive, so you know who to expect. That name is given to you at booking and is not published on this site. If you would prefer a female or male practitioner, say so when you book rather than on the day, because it decides who is assigned.
At a hotel the practitioner goes to your room rather than through reception where the building allows it, and nothing is said at the desk beyond a room number.
The visit itself
What to expect
Your certified, English-speaking beautician arrives at your hotel, condo or office at the agreed time with all professional equipment and a clean, hygienic setup. The service takes place entirely in your private space. Pay in cash (THB) on completion. The largest part of the menu is mobile waxing in Bangkok, which is the largest part of what we do, but the process is the same whichever treatment you book. Read more in what to expect from a home visit and our home-waxing safety guide.
The minute-by-minute arrival
After your booking is confirmed on WhatsApp, here is what an actual visit looks like from our side. Times vary with treatment and traffic, but the shape is the same.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| 10 min before | A WhatsApp heads-up that we are on the way, with any last details such as a lobby meet or suite number |
| On arrival | We message from the lobby or gate. At hotels we ask reception to call your room rather than knocking unannounced |
| Setup, 5–10 min | Clean cover laid down, chair positioned, tools out. We never start setting up before you say you are ready |
| Treatment | The time quoted on the service page is the actual hands-on time. We talk you through each step as it happens |
| Wrap-up, 5 min | Everything packed away, room left as we found it, aftercare explained, payment once you are happy |
What we bring
Everything that touches your skin or hair comes with us, sealed and fresh for the appointment.
- Single-use applicators and spatulas — no double-dipping, ever.
- Your chosen wax, sealed, opened in front of you. RICA, Aloevera or Honey — see our wax options.
- Sanitised tools (tweezers, thread, scissors) in a sealed pouch, opened at the appointment.
- A fresh couch roll, clean towel, and a small bin bag for waste.
- Cool bag for any product that needs it (henna, aftercare gels).
What we need from you
You don't need to prepare much. The list below is the realistic minimum.
- About 2 square metres of floor space — bedroom, living room or bathroom floor all work. We bring a portable stool or use the bed.
- A power outlet within reach — for lamps and, where relevant, hot wax warmers.
- A window or door we can open briefly for ventilation on wax-heavy services. Optional, but appreciated.
- A towel or two — your own, or we can bring a kit for a small fee.
- Cash in THB for payment — handed over at the end, after you're happy.
If your hotel room is small, message us a photo in advance — we'll tell you straight if it works.
Hygiene between clients
Hygiene between clients comes down to the four practices below, and every one of them happens in front of you.
- Single-use where it can be. Applicators, thread, strips and gloves are used once and binned in front of you.
- Tools sterilised between clients. Anything reusable — nail implements, tweezers — is cleaned and sterilised between appointments, never wiped and reused.
- Our own protective cover. It goes over whatever you are lying on, so nothing touches your linen.
- Everything used leaves with the practitioner. Nothing goes into your bin.
- Towels and linens are yours, or a small kit fee covers ours. Say which at booking.
The same protocol is set out as a checklist you can hold any provider to in our guide to home waxing safety.
Money, changes and access
What you will pay is quoted before the appointment, never after; what you will pay sets out the published market range for comparison.
Payment, tipping and the receipt
We keep the close of the visit simple.
- Cash in THB on completion. Quote-based — we send a clear price on WhatsApp before the visit, no surprise add-ons.
- Tipping is not expected and never required. If you want to tip, it is welcome, but there is no expected amount and nothing is added for you.
- Receipts — we can message a simple note with date, service and amount. For company reimbursements, ask before the visit and we'll bring a printed receipt.
Cancellation and rebooking
Plans change. The policy below is the policy — no judgement, no chasing.
- Free cancel or reschedule up to 2 hours before the appointment, by WhatsApp.
- Inside 2 hours a small late-cancel fee may apply, agreed on the day so it never surprises you.
- No-shows are charged the quoted amount. If the issue is genuinely on our side (running late, double-book, equipment failure), we never charge and we rebook at your convenience.
- Rebooking — waxing is usually repeated every three to four weeks and threading every two to three. Tell us your usual cadence and we'll suggest the next slot at the end of each visit.
Language and accessibility
Your beautician is fluent in English and Thai. WhatsApp booking works in either. If you write in another language, message us in English or Thai and we'll go from there. For clients with accessibility needs — limited mobility, hearing, vision — message us before booking so we can plan the room setup around you.
Book your appointment
Tell us the treatment, your district and the time you want. We reply with the full price and the next available slot, usually within a few minutes. You can book an appointment on WhatsApp or use the form on the same page, and the districts we cover lists where we travel.
Questions
Before you book
What actually happens when you arrive?
We message from the lobby rather than knocking unannounced, and at hotels we ask reception to call your room. Setup takes five to ten minutes and we do not start laying anything out until you say you are ready. The room is left exactly as we found it.
Do I need to provide anything?
Almost nothing. Home Visit Beauty brings the couch cover, products, tools, disposables and a waste bag that leaves with us. You need somewhere to lie down or sit, hand-washing access and a power socket. A standard Bangkok hotel room works without moving furniture.
How far in advance should I book?
Same-day is usually possible across Bangkok, subject to a practitioner being free, and we can often reach you within a couple of hours. Early evening and weekend slots fill first, so message in the morning if your timing is tight. Nothing is taken up front and there is no deposit.
What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation or reschedule up to two hours before, by WhatsApp, with no reason needed. Inside two hours a small late-cancel fee may apply, agreed on the day so it never surprises you. If the delay is on our side we never charge and we rebook at your convenience.
Do I tip, and how do I pay?
Cash in Thai baht on completion, once you are happy. Tipping is normal in Thailand but genuinely optional and never expected for a home visit. There is no tip jar and nobody will hint. Rounding up is the usual gesture if you want to.
Will the therapist speak English?
Yes. Every Home Visit Beauty appointment in Bangkok is carried out in English or Thai, whichever you prefer, and your therapist will talk you through each step as it happens. Tell us at booking if you would rather the treatment ran quietly.
Ready to book your session?
