Eyebrow waxing is a short appointment, so what usually moves the price is what goes with it - upper lip, chin, or a full face - rather than the brows themselves. We confirm the figure on WhatsApp before the appointment is booked, so nothing is decided at your door.

The Appointment, Step by Step
The appointment runs in five steps, and the shape is agreed before any wax goes on.
- Seat you upright with good light on your face, from a window or a lamp rather than the ceiling.
- Agree the shape, and what is coming off, before any wax goes on.
- Apply wax below and above the brow line in small sections, never across the whole brow at once.
- Tweeze the stray hairs outside the wax line rather than waxing them.
- Show you the shape in a mirror, then apply aftercare.
Wax or thread for brows
Choosing between the two methods is its own question, and threading or waxing for eyebrows sets them side by side. If you are recovering from over-plucked brows, waxing is the wrong tool for a while — it clears the stray hairs you actually need to keep for density. During a grow-out we recommend threading, which lets us take three hairs and leave the rest. Come back to waxing once the shape has filled in.

How we agree the shape before starting
The single most common brow complaint is "too much came off". We avoid it by agreeing the shape first:
- You show us the line you want.
- We mark what would come off.
- Nothing is removed until you have looked.
- If you are unsure, we take less.
You can always take more off in two weeks; you cannot put it back.

Aftercare
Skip retinols on the brow area for 48 hours. Don’t apply brow tint or henna on freshly waxed skin — wait 24 hours. SPF daily. Most clients get 2–4 weeks of clean shape before regrowth shows.

Before you book
Will waxing change my brow shape?
Only if you ask it to. Tell us the shape you want and we follow your existing line rather than imposing one. Home Visit Beauty agrees the shape with you before any wax touches the skin, at your hotel or home in Bangkok. You can always take more off later. Bringing a photo of your brows at their best communicates a shape faster than describing one, and it gives the practitioner a reference rather than a starting guess. The first pass is deliberately conservative for the same reason.
How long does it last?
Two to four weeks depending on how fast your brow hair grows, which varies more between people than most other areas. The shape holds well for the first fortnight and then starts to soften at the edges. Booking on a regular rhythm rather than waiting until it has fully grown out keeps each appointment shorter and makes the shape easier to maintain, because the practitioner is refining a line that still exists rather than rebuilding one from scratch. Two to three weeks is the usual rhythm for a sharp brow.
Can I combine with a face wax?
Yes, and brows with a face wax is a common pairing. Booked together they take less time than two separate visits, and the total is confirmed with your quote. Doing them in one visit is quicker than two appointments because the setup happens once and the skin only settles once. The brows are usually shaped first while the skin is freshest, since that is the part where precision matters most. Say you want both when booking so the right amount of time is allowed. Adding either on the day is not always possible within the slot.
Should I have my brows waxed or threaded?
Waxing is faster and gives a very clean line, which suits a defined brow and anyone who wants the whole shape done in a few minutes. Threading is more precise hair by hair, which suits sparse brows, a shape you are growing out, or skin that reacts badly to wax. If you use retinol, a prescribed acne treatment or a strong acid on your face, tell us at booking. Threading is often the better option in that case, and the practitioner will say which they would use on the day.
Can I have my brows waxed just before an event?
Leave at least a day, ideally two. Brow skin is thin and often stays slightly pink for a few hours, which is fine on a normal day and less ideal an hour before a wedding or a shoot. Waxing the day before gives any redness time to settle completely and lets you see the shape in daylight before it matters. If you have left it late and the event is today, threading is the gentler choice and we would say so rather than book you in for a wax.
What if I do not know what shape suits me?
Say so at the start and the practitioner will map the shape against your own features before removing anything, rather than working to a trend. The usual reference points are the inner corner of the eye, the outer edge of the iris and the outer corner, and those give a shape that suits your face rather than someone else's. Bring a photo if there is a look you like. It is always easier to take more off at the end than to put hair back, so the first pass is deliberately conservative.
