Anti-Ageing Facial in Bangkok
The slowest of our facials — a longer cleanse, richer products and a lifting massage, in your own room.
You get the full price before anything is booked. No call-out fee inside our central service area; a travel fee further out is quoted up front.
What It Costs, and How the Price Is Worked Out
Session length and which products are used are what move the price of an anti-ageing facial. It is a longer appointment than a cleanse, and the length is agreed before we arrive rather than extended on the day. We confirm the figure on WhatsApp before the appointment is booked, so nothing is decided at your door.
- Session length, agreed when you book
- Whether a mask or a serum step is included
- Whether it is a single visit or part of a course
The Treatment, Step by Step
The treatment runs in five steps, and most of the session time goes into the massage and serum step.
- Towel down, hair back, and set out the products where you can see them.
- Cleanse, then cleanse a second time if you have been wearing makeup or sunscreen.
- Exfoliate lightly, because Bangkok sun and daily cleansing already do a lot of it.
- Massage through the serum step, which is where most of the session time goes.
- Apply the mask, then moisturiser, and explain the SPF advice for the rest of the day.
What the facial does
Firm, hydrate, refresh
Our anti-ageing facial deep-cleanses and nourishes to leave the skin hydrated and looking fresher. Suits long flights and city days. Prefer a lighter reset? Try a facial clean-up.
What sets it apart from a clean-up
The anti-ageing facial is the slower of the two and more massage-intensive, and uses a richer product stack — serum layering, lifting massage, a richer mask. Where a clean-up is "clear out the pores", this is "give the skin the conditions to repair itself."
Massage is most of the value
The part people underestimate is the massage. Fifteen minutes of upward, outward work along the jaw, cheekbones and brow does more for immediate firmness than any single product in the sequence. If you have limited time, the massage is the part not to skip.
The session
If this is your first home appointment, what to expect on a home visit walks through the whole thing, from the first message to the aftercare.
How it feels
Slower than a clean-up, and led by the massage rather than the products. The time is confirmed with your quote. Most of the time is massage — slower, deeper strokes on the forehead, jawline, neck and decolletage than a regular clean-up. There’s no extraction unless you need it; this facial is about feeding and lifting the skin rather than clearing it.
Best for your age
What an anti-ageing facial is best for changes with age, and the three bands below are how we adjust the session.
- Late 20s to 30s: prevention — antioxidant serums, light hydration, no aggressive actives.
- 30s to 40s: first fine lines appear; focus on hydration and gentle retinol-free alternatives.
- 40s+: deeper hydration, firmer massage, neck-and-jawline attention.
What to expect from it
What one session realistically does
Honestly, one session gives you:
- Plumper, better-hydrated skin.
- A visible glow for several days.
- No removal of established lines — that is not what a facial does.
The firming effect is real but temporary — it comes from circulation, hydration and mild lymphatic drainage rather than anything structural. Anyone selling a single facial as an anti-ageing treatment is overselling it.
What changes with a course
Where it does compound:
- Four to six sessions, spaced two to three weeks apart.
- Texture improves, and so does the way skin holds light.
- Most notice it in how makeup sits before they notice it in the mirror.
Afterwards and pairing
Aftercare
Skip retinols or exfoliating acids for 48 hours. Drink water. The skin often looks plumper immediately and continues to settle over 24–48 hours. A three to four week cycle is the usual recommendation for steady-state benefits.
Best combined with
This treatment combines best with the services below, each of which is booked as part of the same visit.
- Clean-up first (extractions), then anti-ageing facial the following week. Best for very congested skin that needs both.
- Foot or hair oil massage as an add-on; the extra time is in your quote.

Questions
Before you book
How often should I have a facial?
Every three to four weeks for maintenance, or as a one-off before an event. Visible change in skin texture comes from a course of four to six sessions, not a single one. Home Visit Beauty brings the anti-ageing facial to your hotel, home or condo in Bangkok. Booking the course at a set rhythm rather than when you remember is what produces the cumulative result, since the effect builds between appointments rather than during them. A single facial before an event still works well on its own.
Do you bring everything?
Yes. Everything arrives with the practitioner: the couch, towels, cleansers, masks and all the equipment needed. You do not need to prepare anything beyond somewhere to set up and access to a bathroom to wash hands. Most people use a bedroom or a living room, and a standard hotel room works without moving furniture. If the space is unusually small, say so in advance and the setup will be planned around it. Nothing needs moving in a standard hotel room.
Can I have this while on retinol?
Yes, but pause retinol for forty-eight hours either side. Retinol thins the surface layer of the skin, and a facial involving exfoliation, steam or extraction on top of that is what turns a treatment into irritation. Forty-eight hours is enough for the barrier to settle. The same applies to glycolic and salicylic acids. Tell the practitioner exactly what you use when they arrive, since the treatment can be adjusted rather than cancelled. Prescription treatments need a longer pause than a serum.
Will I look different immediately?
Yes, though what you see immediately and what builds over time are different things. Within hours the skin looks plumper and more rested, mostly from improved circulation and proper hydration. Any change to fine lines is cumulative and shows over four to six sessions rather than one. Anyone promising a visible structural difference from a single facial is overselling it. Booking a course spaced a few weeks apart is what produces the lasting result. Three to four weeks between sessions is the usual spacing.
Is an anti-ageing facial worth it in Bangkok's climate?
The climate makes a difference to what your skin needs rather than to whether a facial helps. Heat and humidity mean most people here are dealing with congestion and dehydration at the same time, which is why a treatment that only adds rich product can sit badly. A facial that cleanses properly first and then hydrates tends to suit this city better. Tell the practitioner how your skin behaves in the heat and the products will be chosen around that rather than a fixed routine.
Can I have this before a flight or an event?
Yes, but leave a day rather than doing it the morning of. Facials increase circulation and some redness for a few hours is normal, particularly if there is any extraction. Twenty-four hours is enough for that to settle completely and for the skin to look its best. Booking a facial the evening before a long-haul flight is a common choice, since cabin air is dehydrating and starting well hydrated helps. Tell us the occasion when you book and the treatment can be adjusted.
