Facial Mask Pack in Bangkok — Home Visit Beauty

What It Costs, and How the Price Is Worked Out

Which mask is used, and whether a cleanse and extraction come first, are what move the price. A mask on its own is a short appointment; a mask after a full cleanse is not. We confirm the figure on WhatsApp before the appointment is booked, so nothing is decided at your door.

  • Whether it is the mask alone or a cleanse and mask together
  • Which mask suits your skin on the day - agreed before we start
  • Whether a facial massage is added

The Treatment, Step by Step

The treatment runs in five steps, and the mask itself is chosen on the day rather than booked in advance.

  1. Towel down, hair back.
  2. Cleanse, and cleanse a second time if needed.
  3. Agree which mask suits your skin today, chosen on the day rather than booked in advance.
  4. Apply the mask and leave it for the time that mask needs, while you lie still.
  5. Remove it, then apply moisturiser and explain the SPF advice.

Choosing your mask

Which mask suits your skin

Mask packs are not one-size-fits-all. We pick from three main directions based on what your skin needs that day:

DirectionForBase
HydratingDry, post-flight or air-conditioner-stressed skinHyaluronic or aloe
ClarifyingCongested or breakout-prone skinClay or charcoal
SoothingSensitive, red or freshly exfoliated skinOat or cucumber

How we decide the mask

We don’t pick from a fixed menu. After cleansing and any extraction we assess three things, and the answer decides the mask:

  • Is the skin dehydrated?
  • Is it congested?
  • Is it sensitised?

The right mask changes with the season (e.g. hydrating in Bangkok’s dry season, clarifying in the humid monsoon).

How we apply it

Layering technique

For deep dehydration, we sometimes layer two masks — a hydrating sheet mask under a richer cream mask — for a longer treatment. Tell us at booking if your skin is parched from flights or air-con and we’ll plan for the layer.

Standalone vs add-on

A mask pack on its own is short. The time is confirmed with your quote. Most clients combine it with a facial clean-up (45 min total) or an anti-ageing facial (60 min total). The mask works best over freshly-cleansed skin.

See the Facials & Skin menu for the full set of facial treatments.

Timing and aftercare

Best timing in your trip

The best time in a trip for a mask treatment depends on what else is booked, and the three windows below are the ones that work.

  • Day 1–2 of arrival: not recommended — skin is still adjusting.
  • Mid-trip: ideal. Skin has settled, congestion has built up, the mask resets you.
  • Last day before flight: most popular for the airport-transfer-hotel pattern — feel refreshed on the way out.

Aftercare

Skip makeup for 30 minutes post-mask so the active ingredients settle. SPF after. Most masks leave a residual layer on the skin for 12–24 hours — gentle cleanser (no actives) the next morning.

Book Facial Mask Pack in Bangkok

If this is your first time, facial mask pack appointments covers what happens on the day.

Send three things — what you would like done, your district, and when suits you. You get the full price and the next free slot back, usually within minutes. The price is confirmed before anything is booked and does not change afterwards, and there is no call-out fee anywhere in our service area.

Questions

Before you book

Can I book just a mask pack?

Yes, though it works best over freshly cleansed skin, so it pairs naturally with a facial clean-up. Home Visit Beauty brings the mask pack to your hotel, home or condo in Bangkok and matches the formula to your skin type on the day rather than in advance. Pairing it with a cleanup gives the mask clean skin to work on, which is where most of the difference comes from. On its own it is a maintenance treatment rather than a corrective one, and it suits skin that is broadly settled.

Will my face be red afterwards?

No. The masks used here are non-active, meaning they hydrate, soothe or draw out congestion without acids or strong actives that provoke a reaction. Most people finish with no redness at all, which is one reason a mask pack suits anyone nervous about trying a treatment before an event. If your skin flushes easily in general, mention it and a purely hydrating mask will be chosen over a clay-based one. Clay draws out congestion but can feel tightening. Either way there is nothing active to react to.

Can I do this while on retinol?

Yes, because the masks are non-active and contain nothing that conflicts with retinol. Pausing your retinol for twenty-four hours either side is still worth doing for comfort rather than safety, since skin using retinol is thinner and warmer products can feel sharper on it. Tell the practitioner what you use when they arrive and the mask will be chosen accordingly. This is a much shorter pause than an active facial would need. Nothing in the mask conflicts with an acid either.

How often?

It depends what you want from it. Weekly suits skin that is actively congested or dehydrated and needs bringing back. Monthly is the usual maintenance rhythm once things are settled. A single booking before an event works perfectly well as a one-off, since a non-active mask carries no risk of an unexpected reaction the day before. There is no benefit to going more often than weekly, and the skin does better with the gap. Overdoing it is the commonest mistake with masks.

Which mask will be used on my skin?

The practitioner selects it after looking at your skin on the day rather than deciding in advance, because what suits you in Bangkok humidity in April may not suit you in a cooler month. The usual choice is between a clay-based mask for congestion and oiliness, and a hydrating mask for dehydration and tightness. If you have a known sensitivity or a product you react to, say so at the start. A patch test can be done first if you would rather be certain.

Is a mask pack enough on its own or should I book more?

On its own it is a maintenance treatment rather than a corrective one. It suits skin that is broadly happy and needs a reset, and it works well as a regular booking between deeper treatments. If your concern is blackheads, congestion or texture, a cleanup with extraction will do more for you and the mask is usually included as part of it. Tell us what is actually bothering you and we will say which of the two is the better use of your money.
